Tips for a great template
- Pick a sharp, well-lit photo. Contrast between the subject and background gives clean outlines.
- Crop before you upload if the subject is small — the generator crops to your chosen canvas ratio from the centre.
- Portraits: 24–32 colours, detail 6–7. Skin tones need gradual steps.
- Landscapes: 16–24 colours, detail 4–5. Skies simplify beautifully.
- Children’s projects: 8–12 colours, detail 2–3 for big, forgiving shapes.
